Minnesota Vikings starting quarterback Kirk Cousins looked great in his first action with his new team. Cousins only played one drive but looked solid and seemed to take a liking to wide receiver Stefon Diggs, who ended the drive with three catches and a touchdown. The first team defense also looked great against former Vikings quarterback Case Keenum. Overall, the starting offense looked solid but there were still some concerns with the backups and the current depth of the team. The backup offensive line struggled at many spots and that’s not a good sign considering many of them might have to play this year. Backup quarterback Trevor Simeon also looked bad at times, throwing behind receivers and not being able to get rid of the ball when blitzes were coming, I’m not sure he will even for sure make the team. I’m looking forward to next weeks game against Jacksonville and hope the team can build and continue to get better.
