Offensive Line Still A Concern For The Vikings

As the Minnesota Vikings hit the midway point of training camp, there is really only one glaring hole for the team and that is the health of the offensive line. Center Pat Elflein, guard Mike Remmers and guard Nick Easton have been held out of practice because of injuries. Having three starters out is never ideal but the worst part of the Vikings situation is that they have no timetable for a return on any of them. The team assumes Mike Remmers will be back at some point in the preseason, Elflein they’re also hopeful will be back soon, but most reports indicate they have no clue whats going on with Nick Easton. The injuries have been able to give young guys like Danny Isidora and Cornelius Edison valuable reps but even if the Vikings think they have decent depth the injuries are not a good sign and the team should consider adding a veteran in free agency or trading for someone.
