Vikings rookie first-round pick Mike Hughes bought his mom a new house this weekend after finally signing his rookie contract. Hughes was picked 30th by the Vikings in April and is expected to compete for a spot as a starting cornerback this season. Hughes bought the house in his home state of North Carolina and posted a picture of him and his mom at the new place saying that he promised his mom he would do this a long time ago.
It’s very cool to see players do very kind things for their parents and others rather than spend their money on flashy items. Good for Mike Hughes.
