Ronda Rousey, former UFC fighter, is making some new moves over to the WWE side. She recently interviewed on Fox News to talk about the switch. After she had a couple loses at the end of her UFC career many of her fans, and those in the field speculated that she would make the switch.
“I just really hope to inspire people to be lifelong fans and that will eventually bring them here,” Rousey said.
Rousey has praised WWE for supporting its female talent, and has been dubbed “WWE Superstar,” in 2016.
“She is arguably one of the worlds greatest athletes…I can’t wait to see how her presence will give the women’s evolution more weight,” Stephanie McMahon, Chief Brand Officer of WWE.
