MSU Football slides up to 2nd spot in D2Football.com Poll

The Minnesota State football team has improved to the second spot in the latest edition of the D2Football.com poll.

MSU climbed to the second spot in the poll after defeating Winona State 27-6 last weekend at Blakeslee Stadium.

The Mavericks are one of four NSIC teams ranked in the top-25 poll. Sioux Falls improved one spot to 12th after defeating Augustana 21-14. Winona State fell to 16th after its loss to MSU and Minnesota Duluth moved to 23rd after besting Bemidji State 17-0.
Minnesota State continues its season on Saturday as it hosts the Wayne State Wildcats. Kickoff is scheduled for 12:00 p.m.
