MSU Football garners 3rd spot in D2Football.com poll

The Minnesota State football team held the third ranking in the D2Football.com poll for the third straight week.
MSU held steady in the poll after defeating Southwest Minnesota State 54-7 last week.
The Mavericks are one of four NSIC teams ranked in the D2Football.com poll. Winona State improved to 11th after defeating Wayne State 42-19, while SIoux Falls moved up to 13th after besting Concordia-St. Paul 27-9. Minnesota Duluth entered the poll at 24 after defeating Minot State 37-0.
Minnesota State continues its season at home on Saturday as it hosts Winona State. Kickoff is scheduled for 1:00 p.m.
