MSU Football climbs to #4 in latest AFCA Poll

The Minnesota State football team moved up one spot to fourth in the latest edition of the AFCA Poll.

MSU climbed one spot in the poll after defeating Augustana 42-21 last weekend at home.  This is the highest ranking MSU has received in the AFCA poll since it was ranked #1 in week eight of the 2015 season.

MSU is one of three NSIC schools in the AFCA poll. Winona State improved to the 13th spot in the poll after defeating Sioux Falls 31-13 last weekend. USF, which was ranked sixth in last week’s poll, fell to 18th.

Minnesota State begins a two-game road trip this Saturday as it takes on the Upper Iowa Peacocks. Kickoff is scheduled for 5:00 p.m.
