Dodgers Lose Kershaw Due to a Back Injury

On Sunday, July 23, Clayton Kershaw sustained a back injury that will keep him out for an estimated six weeks, leaving the Los Angeles Dodgers short a starter.

Kershaw left Sunday’s game with lower back tightness which was alarming considering that a back injury consumed most of his 2016 regular season.

The Dodgers may be the best equipped team to survive the loss of their pitcher Kershaw. The Dodgers have survived without Kershaw before, considering they have the highest payroll in baseball and very talented pitchers.
