Jimmy Butler Traded When In Paris

On June 22, Jimmy Butler was traded to the Minnesota Timberwolves, but the three-time All-Star told The Ringer’s Bill Simmons he was in Paris when the deal was in the works.

In the latest episode of The Bill Simmons Podcast, Butler revealed that he was playing spades with Carmelo Anthony, Dwyane Wade and Gabrielle Union when he was informed that a he was being traded to the Timberwolves.

Butler said that he did not mind that he was being traded because it was out of his power. He just wanted to get back to his game of spades.
