Is Sharrif Floyd handing in his helmet?

CBS reported yesterday, “Minnesota Vikings defensive tackle Sharrif Floyd remains sidelined indefinitely, due to complications from surgery on his right knee done last September.”

Floyd said, “…I’m just fighting to stay positive and stick in there with my team.”

In Floyd’s spot, the Vikings signed:

Datone Jones (Green Bay)

Will Sutton (Chicago)

Jaleel Johnson (Iowa)

Tom Johnson

Though his spirits may be high, it doesn’t look like his chances of returning are.
