Sunday night’s game between the Wild and Blackhawks was intense, to say the least. Both teams were tied at the top of the western conference standings with 59 points coming into the game, and they were both looking to take control of the #1 spot.
The Wild trailed 2-0 at one point but ended up getting the win, beating the Blackhawks 3-2 in Chicago. The comeback was made possible thanks to Jason Pominville. He scored the game winning goal in the 3rd period and had not scored since November 29th. He picked a great time to find the back of the net.
This fierce rivalry between the Wild and Blackhawks never disappoints.
Minnesota now sits at the top of the western conference and is showing no signs of slowing down.
