Maverick Men’s Basketball ranked 17th in NABC Preseason Poll

The Minnesota State men’s basketball team has been ranked 17th in the National Association of Basketball Coaches (NABC) Preseason Poll.

MSU, which finished the 2016-17 season with a 22-10 record, is the highest rated NSIC team in the top-25. Augustana came in just behind the Mavericks in the 18th spot. MSU Moorhead is receiving votes.

The Mavericks host Saint John’s in an exhibition contest on Thursday, at 7:00 p.m. MSU opens its regular season schedule on Friday, Nov. 11, against Pittsburg State, at 5:00 p.m., in St. Cloud, Minn.
