Bethany Men’s Soccer comes up short to Martin Luther in 1-0 loss

The Bethany Lutheran men’s soccer team (0-13-0, 0-4) faced Martin Luther College in a non-conference contest on Tuesday afternoon. The hard-fought battle was won by the Knights, who captured the 1-0 victory over the Vikings.

Martin Luther netted a goal 14 minutes into play to take a 1-0 lead on the Vikings. The lone goal by the Knights would prove to be the difference in the non-conference match on Tuesday. The Vikings finished the 90 minute match with five total shots compared to the 25 shots from the Knights.

Next Up:
The Vikings and Knights will meet again on Thursday night at 7 p.m. at the BLC Soccer Field. This game will be an Upper Midwest Athletic Conference game.
