MSU Football climbs to 16th spot in D2Football.com poll

The Minnesota State football team improved to the 16th spot in the latest edition of the D2Football.com poll.

MSU moved up one spot in the poll after defeating MSU Moorhead 28-14 last weekend at Blakeslee Stadium.

The Mavericks are one of four NSIC schools in the top-25. Sioux Falls moved up to 12th the poll, while Minnesota Duluth held steady in the 21st spot. Augustana dropped to the 24th spot in the poll.

Minnesota State continues its season on the road this Saturday as it takes on Winona State. The opening kickoff is scheduled for 1:00 p.m. on The FAN Mankato AM 1230 FM 103.1.
