Mavrick football moves up to 19th spot in AFCA Poll

Behind its win over MSU Moorhead this past weekend, the Minnesota State football team has moved up to the 19th spot in the latest edition of the AFCA poll.

The Mavericks climbed two spots in the poll after defeating MSU Moorhead 28-14 last weekend at Blakeslee Stadium.

MSU is one of three NSIC teams ranked in the top-25. Sioux Falls improved to 12th in the poll, while Augustana fell to the 25th spot. Both Bemidji State and Minnesota Duluth are receiving votes.

Minnesota State continues its season on the road this Saturday as it takes on the Winona State Warriors. The opening kickoff is scheduled for 1:00 p.m. on The FAN Mankato AM 1230 FM 103.1.
