Mavericks move up two spots to 17th in D2Football.com Poll

The Minnesota State football team has improved to the 17th spot in the most recent edition of the D2Football.com poll.

MSU jumped up two spots in the poll after it defeated St. Cloud State 45-12 last weekend on the road.

The Mavericks are one of four NSIC schools in the top-25. Sioux Falls (14th) and Augustana (16th) and Minnesota Duluth (23rd) all moved up in the poll after posting wins last weekend.

Minnesota State wraps up the northern portion of its schedule on Saturday as it hosts MSU Moorhead at Blakeslee Stadium. The opening kickoff is scheduled for 1:00 p.m. on The FAN Mankato AM 1230 and FM 103.1.
