Vikings preparing for first ever rivalry game against Packers at U.S. Bank Stadium

The Minnesota Vikings are off today and will return to the practice field tomorrow at Winter Park and begin installing a gameplan for Sunday’s home contest against the Green Bay Packers at U.S. Bank Stadium.

Minnesota WR Stefon Diggs says he learned last year what the Packers rivalry means.

That will be the first-ever regular season NFL at the new downtown Minneapolis venue. Vikes LB Eric Kendricks says facing Aaron Rodgers is a challenge he looks forward to.

Both teams enter the game 1-and-0 after opening the season with road victories last Sunday.

Kickoff is set for 7:30 p.m. on The Fan Mankato AM 1230 and FM 103.1 as well as KXLP 94.1.
