HUGE win for the Oklahoma City Thunder last night against the Golden State Warriors. In a 118-94 win, the Thunder handed the Warriors their first back-to-back losses OF THE SEASON to take a 3-1 lead in the Western Conference Finals. Russell Westbrook (36 PTS, 11 REB, 11 AST) had his first triple-double of the postseason. Kevin Durant also played a big part in the win by adding 26 points and 11 boards.
Although the Thunder had a great offensive performance, they also dominated the Warriors on defense. They forced 21 turnovers and did a great job limiting the MVP Stephen Curry (19 PTS, 5 AST) to only 6-20 from the field.
Golden State will host Oklahoma City on Thursday, May 26th @ 8:00 PM in a desperate attempt to keep their historical season alive.
Fun fact: Only 9 teams in NBA history have come back from a 3-1 deficit in the playoffs.
